The Office

That’s what she said.

Yes. Another TV show. I’m sorry I really am but there are just too many amazing shows to talk about. This one is The Office.

For those of you that were living under a rock between the years 2005-2013 and don’t know what The Office is, it is a show based around a documentary being made concerning a paper company in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The paper company is called Dunder Mifflin and the show follows all of its employees including, but not limited to: Jim Halpert, Pam Beesly, Dwight Schrute, and of course Michael Scott (Regional Manager-Scranton Branch, pictured above, played by the incredible Steve Carell).

Now on paper this seems like the most boring show one could imagine.

“Seriously? A paper company? I know people who work at a paper company and it’s nothing special.” An ignorant man might say about this show.

Thanks, Dwight.

You see, this is may be some ordinary paper company, but these are no ordinary people. There’s humor, conflict, romance, and a lot of stupid jokes. But that’s what makes it great. Jim and Dwight have an ongoing prank war throughout the entire series. And there is nothing funnier than seeing Dwight get angry at Jim.

This is literally the first episode. Classic.

As I stated previously, there is also a bit of romance sprinkled throughout the show. I won’t give any spoilers (even though this show ended almost 4 years ago) but a couple on this show is definitely one of my many OTPs for life. They’re just so freaking cute.

Besides Jim, Dwight, Pam, and Michael, there are a bunch of other characters that are eccentric and hilarious in their own ways as well. One of my personal faves is Creed Bratton. He is the strangest character to ever be created on a show, I’m sure. He’s the oldest person in the office and is certifiably insane.

He’s crazy. I love him.

If the plot isn’t enough to get you into this show. The cast is amazing. Steve Carell, Rainn Wilson, John Krasinski, Jenna Fischer, Ed Helms, B.J. Novak, Mindy Kaling, Ellie Kemper, etc. The list really does go on forever. Also, because this show premiered in 2005, you get to see all of you favorite actors as babies with some pretty bad haircuts and just weird outfits.

Ok. So the entirety of The Office is available to watch on Netflix, which is where I binge-watched this show in the span of about 2-3 weeks. I know I have a problem, okay. There’s no need to point it out. I highly recommend that everyone on this planet go watch it.

Feel free to leave a comment down below about The Office (favorite quotes and characters, how much you wish this show had never ended, etc.), any good shows that you’re currently watching, or what pranks you would just love to pull on Dwight.

Thanks for reading. ❤
